The Numarine 40MXP Yacht: A Mediterranean Adventure Vessel Equipped with Outdoor Features
The Numarine shipyard has recently finished turning the hull of its newest standout boat, the Numarine 40MXP yacht. This significant achievement signals the start of the fitting out period for the 128-foot (39-meter) yacht, which has a range of 6,000 nautical miles at 8 knots. Numarine has already secured three contracts, and is hopeful that this yacht will attract cruisers searching for a Mediterranean explorer spirit.
The Numarine 40MXP has been crafted with a focus on outdoor features and beach-club-type facilities, distinguishing it from other explorer yachts from the same shipyard. The name “MXP” is an acronym for “Mediterranean Explorer,” underlining its appropriateness for voyages in this area.
The design of the yacht includes extra room on the main back deck, which is further enlarged by shifting the saloon entrance nearly 10 feet (3 meters) ahead compared to the Numarine 37XP. This leads to a more spacious outdoor space for dining and relaxing around an infinity pool, along with a hydraulic swimming platform that creates a comprehensive area for relaxation and entertainment.
The yacht is equipped with biminis to provide shade over the pool and seating area, and also features an extended overhang from the upper deck. This is meant to appeal especially to customers in the Middle East, Australia, and Americans who are mindful of sun exposure who enjoy outdoor relaxation with a bit of shade.
In addition to customizing their yachts with enhancements such as Tier III-compliant 900-hp MAN engines, instead of the typical 800-hp MAN engines, owners are personalizing their vessels to match their individual lifestyles. Such personalisations might include full-beam VIP bedrooms below deck and a full-beam master suite on the primary deck reflecting the lifestyle of the owners and their families. The yacht is capable of housing three personal water crafts (PWCs), a tender measuring 29 feet (9 meters), among other auxiliary storage areas.
The completion of the hull turning signifies that the premiere of the first Numarine 40MXP yacht is on schedule for next year.
